Need More Income?

Do you want to make a real difference in this world and get paid for it?

Are you seeking a rewarding role in a world where people need clarity to their talents, career path and roles?

The People Rich team has the honour of impacting people’s lives every day, and one of our most powerful tools is the Extended DISC toolbox that helps individuals and teams find their flow, where they utilise their natural talents to do things more easily, efficiently and with more passion.

In this special edition, we will explain the eight stage business life cycle and the alignment of each of the behavioural styles to give insight into how individuals bring gifts to business growth.

More importantly, we will give you an invite to become an internationally-accredited behavioural consultant and to touch the lives of those you make contact with.  This is an opportunity of being supported by the People Rich team in serving both individuals and business communities, and getting paid for your time and guidance.

Our next  internationally accreditedExtended DISC Consultant course is being delivered in  Perth on the  16- 18 September 2013. This opportunity allows you access to the whole behavioural tool suite to gain immediate income from working with individuals and teams.

8-Stage Business Cycle

Business growth does work in cycles.  Through our international work, we have found that there are eight distinct phases to the business life cycle that once achieved, continue to repeat in this natural order of evolution. Knowing these stages allows us to plan our client’s next phase of growth and accelerate our their business success.

When you look at this natural business cycle, it begins by coming up with a new business idea (or the next one) in the innovating phase, where you are most creative. You then position the trade name and logo with a value proposition together in the branding phase that creates a brand energy that is also reflected in your business’ culture.  Ultimately you want to become a recognised brand in the marketplace that represents trust and quality to your clients.

You then need to build a herd, which is a group of interested parties or clients that are aware of your value proposition through the networking phase where you connect and build relationships. This may be through a number of touch points that include adding value such as eNewsletters, Blogs, websites, direct mail and other social media. Provide value first and build a relationship as this leads to a sale better than trying direct selling.

Then comes the cash flow as you start to turn prospects into clients and start closing the deal in the selling phase, with consideration to how to retain them as ongoing clients.  The best method of selling is through providing an opportunity of huge value to the clients that they want and desire.  In effect, you are not selling, rather they are buying. If I have something you want, you effectively are coming to me, and that is the point – your products and services become the need for the client.  It is them that drives the sales process.

Many people achieve sales, but then cannot deliver in meeting the demand, opening up a window for their competitors to come in. When you don’t deliver on your promise, the trust in you evaporates and that can kill your business.  This is why a focus needs to be on the ability to stabilise your delivery in the stabilising phase. This requires systems that enable repeatable and consistent methods to deliver the promised value to the client.

Where stabilising enables short-term delivery, the sustaining phase enables longer-term delivery and that builds customer trust and loyalty. It is where the business also considers its own investments, maintaining financial revenues and getting it to a commercially stable entity to live through even hard times of the market’s life cycle.

The improving phase is where effort can be put into looking at more efficient processes, and reducing the risk of critical people used in the early stage of the business.  It looks towards ways on putting more business smarts in the systems and processes. It looks at faster, more efficient and effective ways of doing things.

The last systemising phase is where we take a helicopter view of the whole business, looking at the links between the whole process from meeting the client to supporting the client, and all the technology, policies, systems and processes as a whole.  This is the ultimate fix-it phase to prepare for a reinvention with a more stable and robust business infrastructure. This is the maturing of the system, hence the final phase before we begin the innovation phase again, otherwise we age and die.

People Rich have found that knowing this cycle is also critical for helping troubled businesses get out of the rut that will lead to their demise. If your business is not just needing to evolve, but needs a strong kick into action to survive, then the answers are right in front of you.  Using this system, you first need to recognise what phase you are in, and if needing a leap to get you out of the hole, look at the answers in the absolute opposite placed phase.  For example, if you are stuck stabilising – you end up stagnate where the market has already moved and you have not, hence you need to jump straight to innovation to get you back into the business game.

Knowing this business cycle allows you to preempt the next stage of your growth, as well as become aware of how to save your business. Those businesses that are more succeeding through critical people in them definitely need the benefits of the stabilising, sustaining, improving and systemising phases, whereas many of the engineering-based businesses are good at these phases and they need the branding, networking, and selling phases.

Behavioural Style Alignment

What becomes evident when you study behavioural sciences, is that each business cycle phase is aligned to the eight natural behavioural styles of human beings, which means we can start recognising who we need in our business team.  As individuals cannot have all the behavioural traits themselves, it reaffirms the need for a team

People Rich have used the Extended DISC behavioural style, being the most validated tool in the world we have ever come across, as it includes a diagram that shows the eight quadrants that we have named and aligned to the business life cycle. It is an extended and more clarity to the traditional four behavioural blends.

This is one of the reasons People Rich can transform teams so fast as it starts to explain when individual behavioural talents become most effective during the operation of the business, and who you need in your team to make a formidable business force.

Our training program goes about explaining all this, but in a nutshell you can see the match of the DISC model to the behavioural talents and their alignment to the business cycle:

DISC              BEHAVIOURAL TALENT          BUSINESS CYCLE
D                     Innovator                                     Innovating

Our course offers 3-days of training instead of the standard 2-day accreditation course and we offer it at the same price – giving you another full day of insight at no extra cost. In our program we share deeper insights into the latest neuroscience and psychology knowledge behind success so that you gain the best understanding of how behavioural profiling tools change lives.

  • 3-day                 Extended DISC® Consultant
  • Next course:      16 – 18 September 2013
  • Location:            Perth, Western Australia
  • Investment:        AUS$3,300

Why is the Course 3-Days Instead of 2-Days?

Extended DISC® training is normally 2-days and the cost is $3,300, however we believe there is some fundamental understanding of neuroscience and people dynamics that one must have to deeply understand the underpinning principles of behaviour. As part of our own ethics, People Rich conduct a 3-day program for the same price as we believe it is important to understand human dynamics and the associated psychology and neuroscience behind the tools that makes behavioural profiling so important.

We also explore the deeper insight into the 4-profile DISC model and the 8-profiles shown in one of its diagrams.  We believe you need to understand the additional information not provided in the reports, from the natural blind-spots, fear sensitivities and the financial flow of each style.  Basically, we do not want you to just succeed – we want you to excel.

The course fee includes an Extended DISC® Personal Profile, manual, meals, assessment, registration internationally and the setting up of your unique consultant code.

What is the Differences in the Available Behavioural Tools?

People Rich now exclusively use Extended DISC® globally as the tool of choice and being the most accurate and validated tool in the world we have ever come across.  It is supported by significant academic data and there is a validation score that shows the accuracy of the report. It will not even generate a report if the results are not consistent enough, making sure that you are definitely using accurate data.

Extended DISC® gives you a whole toolbox that includes not only personal profiles, but also team analysis profiles, work-pair analysis profiles; and 360 degree tools.    You get access to the complete suite with no ongoing annual fees or reaccreditation requirements.  You pay a fee per tool use based on a credit point system, whereas some systems charge membership fees or other ongoing affiliate charges.

Many DISC tools in the market are more based on a person’s perception of themselves, whereas Extended DISC® shows the difference between a person’s Natural Flow and what they are actually doing (Perceived Need to Adjust) that explains their adjusted behaviours.  If they are aligned – they are in flow, and if not, you can see exactly what needs to be corrected.

Apart from the generic information on their style, the Extended DISC report shows many things, such as:
• Environments they excel and do not excel in;
• Key strength to align to job roles;
• Stress Indicators;
• Their actual stress level now;
• How they sense stress;
• Their roles in teams, leadership etc;
• Areas that take more energy over; and
• Currently what they need more and less of.

The personal profile report also includes:

• Embedded coaching questions

• Explanations in identifying and engaging with other styles

Extended DISC® organisation also run annual global conferences, and offer ongoing email tips and webinars.   The tools are offered in multiple languages – making it very adaptable to your client, whilst at the same time allowing you to add specific pages that let you gain insights about their profile and its alignment to certain roles like projects, sales, customer service and leadership.

What Tools Will I Learn About?

Extended DISC® are frequently updating and improving their range of tools, however the main suite of tools covered in the training include:

•   Personal profile
•   Work-Pair Analysis
•   Team Analysis
•   360 Degree Analysis

The tests and reports can be generated in multiple languages.

You will be able to instantly generate income from any tools that you sell.  You buy them at the wholesale price and sell them at the market price.  Most important is that you get to keep 100% of the income generated from the debrief or any training you do.  Most coaches embed the tools into their coaching programs.

How Do I Become Internationally Accredited?

The course is comprehensive and includes required activities and a short assessment. On completion of the education you will need to complete a short assignment that will then make you eligible to be accredited.
